President & CEO

With a deep passion for aligning CMR Institute’s products and services to our mission and our clients’ goals, Sharon leads the Institute with a focus on innovation and excellence. She enjoys working closely with the Institute’s talented teams and inspiring customers to create effective learning solutions that meet clients’ business and training goals while providing a rich learning experience.

Sharon leverages over twenty years of experience with CMR Institute, complemented by a decade of marketing experience and five years in education, licensure, and certification management. Her extensive background helps CMR achieve its mission of advancing knowledge to enhance healthcare.

Sharon attributes the nearly sixty years of success in meeting CMR Institute’s mission to the board of directors, employees, and subject matter experts who have innovated and collaborated over the years and have fostered a culture of excellence. Through her leadership, Sharon ensures the vitality and long-term growth of CMR by maximizing human and financial resources and setting a clear direction for the company.

She also serves as a Director on the CMR Institute Board of Directors, as co-chair of Junior Achievement of Southwest Virginia, and as a member of the PIP Advisory Council of the Life Sciences Trainers and Educators Network (LTEN).

Sharon holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia. When she’s not working, you can find her spending time with family, traveling, baking, gardening, or reading a good book.
