Roanoke, VA – April 08, 2024 – CMR Institute, the go-to provider of healthcare educational solutions for the life sciences industry, has been named a finalist in the prestigious 2024 LTEN Excellence Awards. The nomination category is for Learning Content, recognizing CMR Institute’s expertise in developing relevant content for the life sciences industry that aligns with the rapid changes in the healthcare market.

Specifically, CMR developed the Fast Facts: Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) eBrief and the Price Transparency Legislation Fact Sheet, two agile learning resources intentionally designed to be updated as rapidly as the market shifts. This new content aims to empower life science professionals to navigate a changing sociopolitical landscape and leverage value-based strategies to help solve the real challenges providers face.

CMR created this learning content to address client needs to upskill their sales teams to function as consultants who can speak to the impact of new legislation and address potential negative perceptions about drug pricing. With these two modules, CMR was able to save life sciences companies the significant costs of developing, updating, and maintaining this type of training.

Michelle O’Connor, President and CEO of CMR Institute said, “We’re beyond excited to be nominated for the 2024 LTEN Excellence Awards, particularly in the Learning Content category. This recognition is a testament to our long-standing commitment of creating relevant, effective, and always up-to-date learning resources that meet the unique needs of the life sciences industry. LTEN is the nation’s only non-profit organization devoted to strengthening training in the healthcare industry. Knowing that industry training leaders evaluate the annual award applications through a rigorous process, being named a finalist amidst numerous compelling submissions holds significant value for our team.”

LTEN will announce the winners at a special in-person, live-streamed ceremony on June 12 at the 53rd LTEN Annual Conference in Kissimmee, Florida. In its 10th year, the LTEN Excellence Awards invites applications to recognize excellent work done by life sciences training professionals working in both the primary market (practitioners) and training supplier (providers) companies.
