Learning Lab
From Content to Capability: Building Field-Ready Teams Without Rebuilding Everything
📅 June 16, 2026
🕐 1:10 PM – 1:30 PM ET
🕐 1:10 PM – 1:30 PM ET
L&D teams in life sciences are under increasing pressure to keep pace with rapid clinical updates, evolving payer dynamics, and rising expectations from healthcare providers. Yet many organizations are still relying on static, build-heavy training models that struggle to keep up.
This session explores how leading teams are shifting from content production to capability building, focusing on what field teams need to succeed in real-world conversations.
Participants will learn a practical approach to modernizing learning strategies by reusing foundational knowledge, reinforcing critical skills, and continuously refreshing content to stay relevant.
Walk away with a framework to reduce content rebuild cycles, improve field readiness, and create a more agile, scalable learning ecosystem.

Workshop
No Team, No Blueprint, No Problem:
A Framework for Building Commercial Training That Sticks
📅 June 16, 2026
🕞 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM ET
When you inherit a training program that isn’t working, or barely exists, where do you begin?
This workshop shares a practitioner-tested framework for diagnosing what’s broken, identifying quick wins, and building a sustainable training program, drawn from Mark Jarvis’s experience at Deciphera Pharmaceuticals.
Stepping into a one-person training role, Mark inherited a fragmented clinical training program, an under-supported commercial team, and a mandate to build something bigger, fast. In partnership with CMR Institute and 2Connect, he did it.
Attendees will work through the same diagnostic framework used to assess program gaps across five critical dimensions and leave with practical tools to prioritize actions, build phased roadmaps, and balance quick wins with long-term capability building.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will learn how to:
✔ Assess program maturity and identify capability gaps
✔ Build timelines that balance quick wins and long-term investments
✔ Evaluate options and strengthen the case to leadership
