Q: Is my computer fast enough to take a test and finish in time?

A: Your Internet Service Provider controls the speed at which your test questions are delivered to your screen. To test your Internet speed, click on PRACTICE ASSESSMENT. This test is available to each student in order to gain confidence in using our testing format.

If you are dissatisfied with your speed, consider using another computer or waiting until your Internet Service Provider has less traffic.

  • If you have call-waiting on the phone line you use for Internet connection, you must disable the call-waiting feature before connecting to the Internet. This will avoid a broken connection caused by an incoming call. For further information, including information about "cookies", log on to the web site's USER GUIDE.
  • Your Internet Service Provider will terminate your connection if there is a period of inactivity. Each provider has a different time limitation. If you leave your PC for a few minutes your Internet connection may terminate due to inactivity. CMR Institute will not reset eligibility when a connection is broken due to inactivity.
