Ten CMR Institute Courses Earn
Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) Credit

Roanoke, VA – February 26, 2007 – CMR Institute, a leading provider of educational solutions for pharmaceutical and biotechnology representatives and managers, is proud to announce that ten of its courses are now recognized for credit by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), the sole accreditation agency to accredit providers of continuing pharmacy education and certificate programs in pharmacy. Students who require CEU’s through ACPE will be able to utilize CMR Institute coursework to meet those obligations. Upon successful completion of each of the evaluated courses, CMR Institute participants will receive 3.0 contact hours (.30 CEUs).

“We are so pleased to provide this opportunity to our students, who represent their companies in clinicians’ offices everyday. We believe that by our students availing themselves of this continuing education opportunity, they are bringing the highest level of information to their customers, thereby ultimately improving the lives of patients,” says Michelle O’Connor, Vice President of Learning and Curriculum Solutions for CMR Institute.

ACPE's directory is the only recognized directory of accredited providers of continuing pharmacy education and certificate programs in pharmacy. As an accredited member of the ACPE and provider of continuing education programs for pharmacists, VCU School of Pharmacy will be working with CMR Institute to provide contact hours (continuing education units) to participants.

Students of CMR Institute’s courses and others seeking recognized, distance-learning education to fulfill their continuing pharmacy education obligations, will be able to complete any or all of these recognized courses via the Institute, submit their evaluation form, and receive 3.0 contact hours for each course. For more information about how to participate, a list of courses, and instructions for submission, please visit www.cmrinstitute.org or call 800-328-2615.
