CMR INSTITUTE ANNOUNCES 40TH ANNIVERSARY YEAR

Forty years ago a small group of physicians and healthcare representatives envisioned a better relationship between their professions. Their vision grew into the CMR Institute^®, which was established in 1966 as a not-for-profit provider of education to support pharmaceutical sales organizations. Over four decades, the Institute has evolved into a leading provider of a broad range of educational solutions in the fields of science and medicine, therapeutic areas, industry trends and issues, and sales and management development.

In 2006, the staff of the CMR Institute proudly announces its 40th anniversary and its continued commitment to set the standard for educational offerings to the pharmaceutical industry. From certifying pharmaceutical sales representatives and managers to providing education and development for specific company needs, the Institute has broadened its scope to meet the diverse needs of our students as well as sales training organizations.

Through our close, long-term customer relationships, the Institute has gained valuable insight into the changing environment and changing needs of the pharmaceutical industry. To respond to the emerging needs of our customers, we are repositioning the Institute and increasing our flexibility. This strategy enables us to create tailored, effective training solutions using our core quality content in formats and delivery modalities that best meet the unique and specific needs of our customers. In addition, we are positioned to strengthen our CMR Certification (CMR^®) Program and our Certification in Pharmaceutical Management (CPM^®) Program.

During the past 40 years, CMR Institute has served over 100,000 representatives and is currently providing education to over 13,000 representatives and managers.
