CMR Institute and UMDNJ Alliance
Since 2002,
CMR Institute and the University of Medicine and
Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) School of Health Related
Professions (SHRP) have had an educational alliance
offering CMR Institute students the opportunity to earn
a master's degree in one of two programs: Master of
Science in Health Systems and Master of Science in
Health Sciences. CMR Institute students who have
completed a minimum of 26 CMR Institute credits may
transfer up to 15 American Council on Education (ACE)
recommended graduate credits earned from the CMR®
Certification Program towards their master's degree,
leaving only four or five courses and a graduate project
to complete with UMDNJ. This alliance offers many
benefits including:
• Advance
standing in one of two UMDNJ online master's degrees.
•
Ability to take all UMDNJ courses over the Internet.
• Coursework and course projects that can be applied
directly to work
environment.
• In-state tuition, even if you do not live in New
Jersey.
• A degree from the
largest fully accredited health sciences university
of
its kind nationwide.
Students may take UMDNJ courses in
two ways: either as a fully enrolled degree candidate of
UMDNJ or as a non-matriculant (application for
enrollment not yet complete). Students, who have already
been accepted into the UMDNJ-SHRP program, may begin
registering for Summer and Fall courses in April.
Students who are non-matriculants may register for
Summer courses beginning in April, and Fall courses
beginning in July. For specific registration dates or
other information, please visit www.shrp.umdnj.edu and
select Registrar.
