Who We Are

We are an independent, not-for-profit organization bringing the best in non-branded, unbiased, and practical education to biopharmaceutical and medical device and diagnostics professionals. We have educated more than 150,000 students from more than 75 pharmaceutical and biotech companies worldwide, making us the leading provider of educational solutions for healthcare representatives and managers.

We were founded by physicians in 1966 who, long before today’s public demands, understood that only highly trained healthcare representatives could deliver value to practicing clinicians; and for more than four decades, we’ve dedicated ourselves to doing just that. We're constantly working to keep our offerings current, relevant, and innovative, all in service to our primary purpose: creating smarter — and more valuable — reps.

CMR Institute’s not-for-profit 501(c)3 status allows us to continually invest our resources in our curriculum to realize our mission: To advance knowledge to enhance healthcare. We are dedicated to providing unbiased, current, and applicable industry information that increases knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting healthcare today.
