CMR Institute is an independent, not-for-profit healthcare educational provider founded by physicians in 1966 in response to the need to increase therapeutic knowledge through scientific education; to improve communication skills to facilitate effective clinician interactions; and to enhance business expertise to understand industry challenges.
Offering the only nationally recognized certifications for representatives and managers, our respected programs have defined educational standards and provided professional development for more than 40 years.

Our Curriculum and its Design
CMR Institute uses a team of experienced instructional designers and writers who apply solid instructional design strategies to enhance the adult learning experience for maximum effectiveness. Forty-four courses and two virtual preceptorships provide healthcare professionals with vital knowledge to more effectively interact with today’s medical professionals.

Independent review and evaluation
All CMR coursework goes through multiple stages of development and is reviewed for accuracy and thoroughness by our instructional designers and subject matter experts.
Our entire curriculum is regularly reviewed by the American Council on Education (ACE). All CMR courses carry upper-division baccalaureate credit and 29 courses have supplements that carry graduate-level credit recommendations.
In addition, the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), the national agency to accredit providers of pharmacy continuing education and certificate programs, has reviewed and approved 10 CMR courses for ACPE credit.
Graduate degree opportunities
CMR Institute maintains alliances with academic institutions to allow students and graduates to work toward a master’s degree as they complete CMR Institute courses.
