Instructional Design and Development

CMR Institute has a team of experienced instructional designers and writers who can assist clients and trainers in assessing their educational needs. We can work to modify our existing curriculum to better fit client needs, or help in developing additional content to complement client training material.

CMR Institute follows a rigorous instructional design process when developing all instructional materials. This includes the development of a content outline, followed by a multi-stage revision cycle resulting in multiple drafts. Objectives are developed that accurately convey the skills and knowledge required by the target audience, and content is then developed to support learners' acquisition of those objectives. Content typically includes text, stimulating graphics, and practice exercises that align with the stated objectives and avoid providing extraneous or distracting information. Content that is delivered electronically will also include animations and other interactive activities.

Throughout the development process, content is reviewed by internal writers and instructional designers, as well as outside subject matter experts, and feedback is used to make revisions that bring the content to the desired level of quality.
