Concentration of Study: Business in Healthcare

The business in healthcare concentration of study offers courses that present key business concepts that are an integral part of today's healthcare environment. These concepts include management theories being implemented by many healthcare organizations, alliances and partnerships occurring between providers and healthcare organizations, and the financial relationships that influence the decisions being made by managed healthcare organizations, integrated delivery systems, hospitals, physician group practices, insurance companies, employers, patients, and pharmaceutical companies.
