Who We Are

CMR Institute is an independent, not-for-profit organization offering non-branded, unbiased education to pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotech professionals. We are the leading provider of educational solutions for medical representatives and managers -- we have educated 150,000+ students from more than 45 pharmaceutical and biotech companies worldwide.

We were founded by physicians in 1966 in response to the need to increase therapeutic knowledge through scientific education and evidenced-based medicine, as well as enhance business acumen and ethics needed to publicly demonstrate value to the patient care continuum. More than 42 years ago, we innovated the integration of science-based learning to increase the effectiveness of pharmaceutical professionals to assure that clinician/representative interactions are valuable, informative, and efficient, and we continue to evolve to meet the needs of an industry that is dedicated to serving the needs of others.

CMR Institute’s not-for-profit 501(c)3 status allows us to continually invest our resources in our curriculum to realize our mission: To advance knowledge to enhance healthcare. We are dedicated to providing unbiased, current and applicable industry information while increasing the knowledge, and understanding of the issues affecting healthcare today.
