Cherie Hicks oversees and leads strategies to strengthen CMR Institute’s position to realize its mission to enhance patient care through the advancement of professional development and knowledge. As a visionary for the Institute, Ms. Hicks is strategically committed to the evolving educational needs of the healthcare industry and has been instrumental in implementing innovative solutions. Her dedication to the education and development of highly-valued industry professionals is also realized through her advocacy of their role in optimal patient outcomes. Since becoming the Institute’s first female president in 2008, her guiding principles have made a lasting impression on the Institute’s direction. Her experience and background with education and the healthcare industries helped shape her vision for education’s vital role in improved healthcare outcomes. 
 

Michelle O'Connor

Michelle O’Connor leads the development and implementation of short- and long-term marketing and product development strategy for CMR Institute, drawing on her more than 16 years of experience in providing healthcare education to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Through her work directing the ongoing development of innovative educational content, Ms. O’Connor helps training organizations improve learning outcomes in many diverse areas. To ensure that industry needs are addressed in the development and implementation of CMR Institute’s educational programs, Ms. O’Connor manages collaborative idea sharing efforts through in-depth industry, client, and student research.

Jim Dutton has been with CMR Institute for 25 years. He has dedicated his career to providing healthcare representatives and managers with quality continuing education, professional development, and certification through innovative learning strategies and a flexible curriculum. His commitment to the industry was recognized in 1998 when the Society of Pharmaceutical and Biotech Trainers (SPBT) bestowed on him the Frank and Anne Walsh Distinguished Service Award, named for the SPBT’s founders and established to recognize outstanding dedication and service.
